Great Free Service, But Is Missing A Few Things, And Has Minor Issues In OS X El Capitan
First off, I’m not saying this app is bad, because it’s not, it’s a great app, I love TextNow’s free texting service. However, I just thought Id let you know of an issue with your TextNow application for Mac, using OS X El Capitan. With OS X Yosemite, TextNow worked just fine, but since I started using the beta of OS X El Capitan, when I open the app, sometimes, it crashes on launch. If I reopen, it launches fine, but I cannot put TextNow into full screen mode anymore, or it crashes every time. This all occurred with TextNow for Mac v1.1.3. I love your app, but Im just letting you know of the issue. Also, TextNow for Mac is missing a few important things... Like calling. My Mac has a mic, and speakers, it needs calling. Also, its missing the ability to edit the name of your contacts of people you are texting. One of the people I am texting, I accidentally set it as the wrong name, of someone else, and now I cant change it. Also, when someone texts you, and you get the notification in the Mac Notification center, you should make it where you can reply straight from the notification, without having to open the app. Also, in your iOS version of TextNow, you should do the same…make it to where you can reply to a text straight from the notification, without having to load up the app. Please fix the issues soon, though Thanks in advance!

Model: MacBook 7,1 (Mid-2010 13’3” White Unibody)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 @ 2.4 GHz
RAM: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 (2 x 2 GB)
OS: Mac OS X El Capitan (Public Beta 15B22c)
Once again, these issues weren’t occuring at all in OS X Yosemite until I first updated to an OS X El Capitan public beta about a month before the public main El Capitan release. I’m just letting you know so it can be fixed. Other than these minor issues, I can still use TextNow for Mac as intended. Thanks!
—> I forgot to mention, that today (Wednesday, October 7th, 2015), I tried to log in to my TextNow account on your website, and when I would enter my username and password (which are correct, I checked) it doesn’t do anything when I click "Sign In” or “Log In” or anything. Doesn’t tell me I’m wrong, doesn’t ay error, it doesn’t do anything. Click anything else on the site, it responds and loads something, but if you clicked log in or sign in after inputting your login username/password, and it wouldn;t do a thing. It was like clicking a useless button. I tried quitting Safari, and restarting, tried refreshing a few times. I even tried typing in another password of mide I knew was wrong, and nothing happened. Never said error, or wrong, nothing would happen. Please fix that.
—> Update: Immediately after adding the problems with the website, I tried the site again, and it finally worked with the login. Right after saying there was an issue, the website let me in.
